A month-long journey exploring nourishment, connection, and creativity through Chiang Mai’s food culture.

INTRODUCTION

Part of Something Bigger: Cosmo Local CNX

This residency is more than a month long experience. It’s part of Cosmo Local CNX, a year long initiative connecting global innovators with Chiang Mai’s local changemakers.

What is Cosmo Local CNX?

A movement bridging the “cosmos” (international networks) and the “local” (Chiang Mai communities) through collaborative residencies, workshops, and gatherings. Our vision: cultivate new ways of living, learning, and building together while strengthening culture, creativity, and regenerative practice.

The Popup Village

In September 2026, Chiang Mai’s Wat Ket district transforms into a month long Popup Village: a living laboratory where all five tracks converge. Expect showcases, workshops, performances, and collaborative projects bringing together 1,000+ global and local participants. Think of it as a festival meets innovation hub meets cultural exchange, all happening in neighborhood venues across the riverside district.

The Food Track

“Food That Nourishes Us” serves as the Food Track of Cosmo Local CNX, one of five impact areas alongside Music, Technology, Planetary Health, and Entrepreneurship. This month-long immersive experience aims to connect global participants with local heritage. Your participation contributes to a larger ecosystem of learning that will culminate in the Cosmo Local CNX Popup Village in September 2026.
